Our mentoring comes in a unique blend of personalized financial education, mental resilience building, and practical financial planning tools. Our approach focuses on these three key pillars: enhancing financial literacy, building mental financial resilience, and developing long-term financial planning tools.
Supporting and sponsoring Stars doesn’t stop at education. Your contribution provides our sponsees ongoing, personalized support, ensuring they have the resources, community connections, and confidence to take control of their financial future.

We are looking for partners to collaborate with us in creating a virtual workshop library that complements our three pilars that we believe are essential for personal growth and long-term success.
With our first pillar of enhancing financial literacy, this series of workshops will focus on essential skills such as budgeting, saving, and debt management. We want to empower individuals and help them take back control of their own finances by making informed decisions.
Workshops in this pillar that we welcome partners for:

- Learning the Basics of Personal Taxes

Our second pillar, building mental financial resilience is crucial. This series of virtual workshops will focus on overcoming the emotional and psychological impacts of financial stress.

At EDC: MV, we are committed to fostering the next generation of leaders who are ready to make a long lasting impact in the nonprofit and charity sectors. Starting in 2026, we hope to be offering internships designed to empower individuals with the skills and experiences necessary to help break the cycle of poverty and create sustainable changes!
Like our other programs here at EDC: MV, our internship program will focus on the three core pillars: enhancing financial literacy, building mental financial resilience, and developing long term financial planning tools. These internships will give virtual “hands-on” experience without the burden of in-person workshops.
